Empowering Your Employees: Toward a Meaningful Approach to Management
Once the team’s strategy has been defined, the manager must delegate the various components of that strategy to his or her team members.
This approach, carried out with empathy and compassion, serves as the link between the team’s long-term vision and its day-to-day work.
Thanks to this, every employee understands their priorities and appreciates their contribution to the organization’s success.

What people are saying
Practical tools as well as solutions for certain situations that can sometimes be complex
I found this training course to be very engaging, informative, and interactive.
Some theory, but also hands-on practice through role-playing exercises, which makes it easier to apply what you’ve learned in real-world situations.
We leave with practical tools and solutions for certain situations that can sometimes be complex.
This is a real added benefit for a management style that is supportive, fair, and inclusive, while still maintaining its distinct identity.

I think that without this training, we wouldn't have been able to move forward together: I was delegating "too much" and "in the wrong way"
At the time of the training, I had just hired a talented project manager who has since become my business partner;
I think that without this training, we wouldn't have been able to move forward together: I was delegating "too much" and "in the wrong way"; as far as I was concerned, he was an expert;
He needed to track his performance; he needed much better feedback!
This is a training session I’ll remember for a long time!
I really like the saying that “talent is about surrounding yourself with the right people”

Implementation can take place immediately
This training provides many useful tips and highly relevant tools for effective delegation.
Between "Savoir Être" (how to analyze delegation in all its complexity and position oneself accordingly) and "Savoir Faire" (methodologies for preparing and monitoring delegated tasks), the concepts can be put into practice immediately.
These two days fully met my expectations.

I had never really understood what the word “delegate” meant
I had never really understood what the word “delegate” meant.
By taking the training module "Delegating with Purpose" (the course's former name), everything becomes clearer, and the tools used are simple and effective.
Learning about assertiveness also helps put management styles into words, which makes it easier to feel more comfortable in your day-to-day role as a manager.

A real breath of fresh air that has allowed me to gain new knowledge and management skills
The "Delegating with Purpose" training course (formerly known as...) was a real breath of fresh air for me, allowing me to gain new management knowledge and skills.
This process took place in two stages: the first involved a period of self-reflection that opened my eyes to some of my actions, which, in hindsight, were ultimately inappropriate.
And secondly, it gives me, as a manager, a certain sense of reassurance.
This course is intensive and offers a wealth of theoretical knowledge…
The tools I use are very effective and have become real “weapons” for me, helping me to further solidify my position as a manager and feel more comfortable in this role.
This training is both beneficial and essential for any manager.

The main problem I encountered was that my employees didn't fully understand the instructions I was giving them
I took over the family winery in 1999 and opened a second one in 2010. From that point on, I experienced the joys of management, as I had to delegate tasks to my staff.
In 2010, I had four employees spread across the two wineries. My main problem was that my employees didn’t fully understand the instructions I gave them, and I wasn’t able to give them enough autonomy.
At a CJD training forum, I signed up for the workshop “Delegating with Purpose,” led by Alain.
During this two-day training session, through concrete examples and role-playing exercises, I quickly realized that the lack of understanding stemmed from the fact that my instructions were neither clear nor understandable.
This training also helped me realize that the best way to get a colleague to understand you is to adapt to their personality
Thanks to the tools Alain provided us with—such as SMART goals and the SACRE profile—I’ve tried to better understand my employees’ profiles so I can communicate more effectively with them, and I’ve also made a point of regularly taking the time to check in with them and let them know what I expect from them.
I can say that since this training, my colleagues have a much better understanding of my requests, and as a result, they’ve become more proactive and confident. Communication has improved, and they’ve gained a much clearer grasp of the requirements.
Thanks to these developments, I feel more at ease, and that’s why I’m moving forward without hesitation to open a third wine cellar.

Knowing your weaknesses so you can improve
While a willingness to learn is essential for becoming a manager, it is not enough to succeed in this role, which is crucial to the company’s growth.
Understanding their weaknesses so they can improve—that’s what Crono Concept [formerly EcloHésion] has made possible for Vacanciel’s managers.
