Take (back) control of your time: toward a better work-life balance

Time, the most equitable resource and a major source of stress, is at the heart of our training.

Effective time management is an essential transferable skill. Before a manager can manage their employees’ time, they must first master their own.

This training is designed for employees who juggle both medium-term (annual goals) and short-term (weekly schedules, appointments, etc.) responsibilities, as well as for managers and executives who must also keep track of longer-term objectives.

21 hours (2 days + 1 day)

Who is this training intended for?

Audience:

Anyone with enough autonomy to organize at least part of their work on their own. Managers. Executives.

Prerequisites:

None, except having enough flexibility to be able to organize at least part of one's own work.

Day 1

  • MID-TERM PLANNING

Day 2

  • THE WEEKLY/MONTHLY PLANNING TEMPLATE
  • HANDLE EMAILS
  • REDUCE AND MANAGE OUTAGES

Day 3

  • A fun review of the tools and methods we’ve covered.
  • A compilation of the trainees' achievements and progress.
  • Resolving questions and issues raised by trainees using collective intelligence methods.

Course objectives:

  • Identify your personal values and then make sure you’re spending enough time nurturing them
  • Discover the best practices for effective time management in the workplace
  • Knowing how to organize your work over a typical week or month: Making the most of your natural rhythms, incorporating recurring tasks, micro-tasks, key tasks, appointments, and meetings.
  • Knowing how to minimize and manage unforeseen events.
  • Understand the pitfalls of email, take steps to prevent them, and implement an efficient email management protocol.
  • Knowing how to minimize and manage interruptions.
